Farmers Traning

Following training programmes were conducted under the project.

1. Seed Priming of Bioformulation Training:

Farmer-focused sessions on the technique of seed priming using bioformulations.
Practical demonstrations at the farmer's field to illustrate the proper application of bioformulations for seed priming.

2. Training on Field Application of Bioformulation:

Hands-on training for farmers on the correct field application methods of bioformulations.
On-field demonstrations showcasing the effective use of bioformulations in enhancing crop growth and resilience.

3. Training on Mass Production of Bio-Enriched Composting:

Specialized training sessions for farmers on the mass production of bio-enriched compost.
Providing practical insights into composting techniques using bio-inputs, emphasizing the role of compost in soil health.

4. Skill Development on Mass Production of Bio-Inputs:

Targeted skill development programs exclusively designed for farmers.
Comprehensive training on the large-scale production of bio-pesticides, bio-fertilizers, and macrobials to empower farmers with self-sufficiency.

5. Farmers' Skill Enhancement in Bio-Input Production:

Farmer-centric skill development workshops focusing on mass production techniques for bio inputs.
Enabling farmers to acquire expertise in cost-effective methods for producing their own bio-pesticides, bio-fertilizers, and macrobials for sustainable agriculture.

Following training programme were also conducted:

Identification of major pest and disease of the selected crop: Tomato, Turmeric, Potato, Maize
On farm production control for pest and disease management
On farm production of antagonists and entomopathogens
On farm production of microbial consortia of entomopathogens
Quality control of microbial biopesticides
Method of application of biopesticides, including seed treatments, preparation of enriched compost and soil application, preparation of spray solution precautionary measures etc.
On farm production of natural enemies and their methods of release in crop fields
Method of application of biopesticides
In situ farmers scientist interaction, 1 day workshop
Entrepreneurship development, preparation business plant for credit facility from NABARD, RGGVN etc.

Farmers (Tribal, Male and Female) trained under different training and awareness programme and demonstration activities under DBT BIOTECH KISAN funded project.
